Your role at St John of God Ballarat Hospital
We are seeking applications for a Scanning Clerk to join our medical records team at Ballarat on a casual basis.
The purpose of this position is to provide accurate and timely scanning of health record documents and maintenance of the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS).
The Position
* Accurate and timely scanning of health record documents in the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS).
* Prepare health records for scanning.
* Upload electronic documents into the SHRS.
* Perform quality activities on scanned documents.
* Correct identified anomalies in the SHRS.
* Perform HIS clerical duties as directed.
* Participate in the ongoing development and training programs.
* All other reasonable duties as directed by the Manager Health Information Services.
To be considered for this position you will need to have ability to work a range of shifts, including weekends, as well as extra shifts as required. Previous HIS clerical experience is preferable.
Successful applicants will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and data entry skills, and experience working in a team environment.
