We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Emergency Residents/Registrars and Senior Registrars to join our dynamic team in the Southern Fleurieu Health Service Emergency Department.
The successful candidates will be responsible for managing patient care in the Emergency Department, collaborating with medical, nursing, and allied health staff. They will also participate actively in a 24/7 roster, continuing education, and quality improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage patient care in the Emergency Department collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health staff
* Provide after-hours code blue support to the inpatient medical unit
* Participate actively in a 24/7 roster, continuing education, and quality improvement programs
* Foster teamwork across disciplines to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and a positive workplace culture
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in Emergency Medicine with competency in common emergency procedures and paediatric patient management
* Able to work independently and under pressure while maintaining excellent patient care standards
* Committed to providing culturally safe care and willing to undertake further cultural training
