Job Description:
As a First Officer with the SAR team, you will assist the Captain in providing support to your entire crew, working diligently, quickly, and professionally, to ensure that each mission is a success.
This is not an ordinary pilot job. You will operate a highly modified up-to-date medium business jet, equipped with the most advanced technology ever to be integrated into a civil SAR platform and work with a highly skilled team.

Qualifications:
What we need
Australian Passport or Passport from a country without travel restrictions
Australian CPL(A)
CASA Class 1 Medical
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC)
1500 hours total flying time
500 hours total flying time in command/ICUS.
500 hours pilot in command experience in multi-engine and/or turboprop aeroplanes.
Desirable
Multi-crew transport category experience will be well regarded
Instructor qualifications will be well regarded
Previous experience in low level flying; SAR or surveillance operations will be well regarded
In addition
You must commit to being within 30 minutes of your assigned airport when on night standby
Type rating training will attract a Bond
