We are seeking an experienced maintenance leader with a strong technical background in mobile mining equipment. The successful candidate will lead our mobile maintenance team to ensure the reliability and availability of our heavy mobile equipment fleet.
This role oversees preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for haul trucks, excavators, graders, dozers, and ancillary equipment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership to supervisors and trades personnel, drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and maintenance practices, manage budgets, resources, and contractor performance, collaborate with key stakeholders in operations and technical teams to align maintenance priorities with production goals, and promote a proactive asset management culture and ensure compliance with statutory and site standards.

Job Requirements
* A trade qualification in mechanical or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
* Minimum 10 years' industry experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
* Expertise in maintenance planning, budgeting, and cost control.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
* High level problem solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Experience in continuous improvement and change management.
