**APS Level 5 - Various Coordinator Roles, Collection Branch**:

We are seeking to fill several ongoing **Coordinator** roles at the **APS5** level across various sections within the Collection Branch.

As part of the Library's team, you will help support organisational reform, working collaboratively with your team to shape the Library's future.
The Collection Branch collects today what will be important tomorrow. The Branch builds the collection in an efficient and automated way to enable the community to discover, learn, enjoy and create new knowledge. The Collection Branch is responsible for several core functions including selecting, acquiring, and describing collection material, managing rights in relation to collection material, and protecting the Library's collection through preventive and conservation treatments.
These roles undertake complex procedural, administrative and service-related tasks that may require you to:
**Collect and Acquire roles** - undertake activities that are moderately complex, assisting with team planning, triaging requests and allocating work related to the acquisition of library collection materials. You will also be involved in a broad range of activities, some technical in nature, including making arrangements for the transfer of collection materials, liaising with vendors, donors and publishers, financial and payment administration, preserving technical formats and supporting contractors undertaking commissioned collecting activity on behalf of the Library.
**Rights Management roles **- make decisions on rights, including copyright, privacy issues and indigenous cultural rights. You may also be involved in licensing, requests for access and drafting and updating agreements.
**Strategy and Transformation roles** - may include providing advice and decisions on process improvement and the collation of data to support business intelligence reporting. You will also contribute to the management and implementation of projects, scanning of processes, procedures and innovation across the GLAM sector, and the review of Branch policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the delivery of key administrative tasks and reporting for the Branch.
Experience in Library and Archive work and an understanding of contemporary acquisition, description and conservation principles would be an advantage.
This recruitment process will be used to fill a number of immediate ongoing vacancies and to establish a merit pool that can be accessed to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies at this level within a period of 18 months from the date of advertisement.
