What you'll do
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager to join our Business Advisory team in our Gold Coast office. As a manager, you'll take ownership of your own portfolio while continuing to develop your leadership capability:
* Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality advisory and compliance outcomes
* Take ownership of workflow, WIP, and budgets, ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently and profitably
* Review financial statements and tax returns across a range of entity types
* Mentor and coach seniors, supporting them in delegation, workflow, and developmentBuild strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their businesses
* Contribute to identifying advisory opportunities and adding real commercial value
* Support team performance, development conversations, and capability uplift
* Play an active role in continuous improvement and innovation within the team
What you'll bring
* CA or CPA qualified
* Proven experience in Business Advisory / Tax within a public practice environment preferred
* Strong technical capability, with confidence reviewing work and guiding others
* A genuine interest in developing into a trusted business advisor and people leader
* Experience mentoring or informally leading team members
* Strong commercial thinking and ability to understand client needs beyond compliance
* Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for clients
