About the role
As a Registered Nurse Transitional to Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you will utilise your advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality, individualised nursing care. Your role will extend across both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics, ensuring patients receive the very best care at every stage of their journey.
You will also play a vital role in supporting and mentoring colleagues, sharing your knowledge to enhance care delivery and outcomes across the service.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based, individualised nursing care to clients of the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Medical Officers, and Aboriginal Health Workers.
* Act as a role model and clinical resource, supporting and guiding peers and junior staff.
* Contribute to service development, patient care planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Exercise autonomy and professional judgement in clinical decision-making.

Essential Requirements
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Post registration qualifications relevant to the area of specialty with at least 3 years post-registration experience within the clinical area of specialty.
* Eligible to drive in NSW and willing to travel for work purposes.
