We're seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about customer experience and confident leading a large team from the front in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering a consistently high-quality guest experience while overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Buffet.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, coaching, and developing a large front-of-house team with a strong service culture
* Managing daily operations across a 400+ seat, high-volume restaurant
* Setting and maintaining customer service standards and presentation
* Being visible on the floor during service and engaging with guests
* Managing rosters, labour costs, and team performance
* Working closely with the Kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow across 80+ dishes
* Handling guest feedback professionally and turning issues into positive outcomes
* Ensuring compliance with WHS, food safety, and venue procedures
About You
You're a hands-on hospitality leader who understands that great customer experience drives repeat business.
You'll bring:
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Senior Supervisor (high-volume venues highly regarded)
* A genuine passion for customer service and team engagement
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A calm, solutions-focused approach during busy services
* Experience managing labour, rosters, and service delivery
* Availability across a rotating roster, including weekends and peak periods
