Psychosocial Recovery Coach Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Psychosocial Recovery Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals experiencing mental illness, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their recovery goals.
Job Description:
In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients, developing personalized recovery plans that address their unique needs and circumstances. You will provide service coordination and navigation of mental health and mainstream services, ensuring seamless support throughout the client's journey. Your person-centered approach will empower clients to take ownership of their recovery, while your strong problem-solving skills will help you navigate complex situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working with vulnerable populations, including those with mental illness
* Certificate IV in Community Services or Mental Health (or willingness to pursue)
* Knowledge of local service providers and community resources
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners
