About the Role
Lismore Base Hospital is seeking Specialist Anaesthetists to provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine services at the primary facility and other facilities for optimal patient outcomes. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities, and deliver training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive anesthetic services across all surgical services, including elective, emergency, acute pain, perioperative, and regional anesthesia.
* Lead a multidisciplinary team in patient care.
* Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
* Educate and supervise trainees in Anaesthesia and peri‐operative medicine.
* Respond to on‐call duties and provide timely on‐site care.
Qualifications
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Anaesthetist.
* Recent clinical experience in Anaesthesia, capable of delivering all required services in the network.
* Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
* Excellent clinical communication skills.
* Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.
* Willingness to participate in on‐call roster.
