Financial Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Financial Support Specialist to provide comprehensive financial assistance and administrative backing to our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out general accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems for customer and supplier accounts as per industry standards
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations
* Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
* Following up on debtor claims according to company policy
* Reconciling supplier accounts and making timely payments
* Meeting deadlines and adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Experience with accounting software is highly regarded
* Background in accounts receivable and accounts payable or a similar financial role
* Minimum of 3+ years experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
* Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
* Advanced skills in accounting software with ability to utilise complex features
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position
