Job DescriptionThe essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced Executive Head Chef with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our largest operations.
As a Executive Head Chef, your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service.
As well as having excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.
QualificationsHave worked in a similar environment at a management level assisting the General Manager on site with all food related mattersBe a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their developmentBe naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer serviceHave excellent Health & Safety knowledgeBe financially astute with good understanding of GP calculation and have strong IT literacyBe innovative and creative and driven by excellenceStay up to date with current food trendsPossess a relevant culinary qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Culinary ArtsHave a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior chef role within a high-volume catering environmentDemonstrate exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniquesPossess strong menu planning and development skills, with the ability to create seasonal and innovative dishesHave experience in managing food costs, inventory, and budgetingDemonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentHold relevant food safety certifications and have a thorough understanding of food hygiene regulationsHave experience in managing and motivating large kitchen teamsAdditional Information£48,000 - £50,000 per annum5 over 7 day operation28 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidaysBespoke training and developmentPensionDiscounts available from HAPI app, from high street shops to holidays and cinemasFor almost 20 years, for every client, in every location, whether that's an office, stadium, cathedral or university, we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer, and guest can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
