About us:
The town of Woorabinda is situated on the traditional lands of the Wadja Wadja and Gungaloo Aboriginal people and is a designated Aboriginal Shire Council Community located in Central Queensland, 175 km southwest of Rockhampton.
Located in the Aboriginal Community of Woorabinda, 175 km southwest of Rockhampton, the Woorabinda MPHS, provides first line, health care for the people of Woorabinda and surrounding rural population. The 63 Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Operational and Administrative staff provide:
* 24-hour Accident and Emergency care

* Community Home Support Services
* Community Women and Child Health Services
* Community and Public Health Services (including school health services)
* Community Chronic Disease Services (including Renal Dialysis)
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse (Community) practices autonomously providing direct care to clients of this rural/remote, indigenous community health care setting. The Nurse works within the multidisciplinary Community Health Team of the Woorabinda Multi-Purpose Health Service and is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of health program activities in one of four main health program areas: Chronic Disease; Women and Child Health; Community and Public Health; Community Home Support Program.
This role reports to the Nurse Unit Manager Community Health and plays an important role in providing clinical support for Primary Health Care workers and others in the delivery of Primary Health Care Program activities. Collaboration with the community, other agencies and the wider health service team is an essential feature of this role towards improvement of community health and well-being.
About you:
* You will hold a current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
* While not mandatory, further qualification or evidence of further learning relating to Community and Primary Health Care, Diabetes education, and /or Rural and Remote Nursing would be well regarded. An immunisation program Nurse qualification would also be beneficial but not mandatory.

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $10,991 p.m. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $ $58.30 p.h.
