Requirements

Professional Experience

* — Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management or executive role within fintech, crypto, FX exchange, or remittance businesses.
* — Proven experience in scaling financial or crypto-related operations, ideally in OTC trading, currency exchange, or cross-border payment businesses.
* — Strong background in OTC crypto trading operations, foreign exchange (FX), and money transfer services.
* — Experience managing high-volume financial operations, with exposure to $50M+ monthly transaction volumes.
* — Hands‐on experience working with both cash and non‐cash exchange operations.
* — Practical experience managing trading spreads, liquidity flows, and operational margins.

Industry Knowledge

* — Deep understanding of OTC crypto markets and liquidity management.
* — Strong knowledge of currency exchange operations (cash and digital).
* — Understanding of cross‐border payment flows and remittance infrastructure.
* — Familiarity with operational challenges related to banking relationships, payment providers, and fund settlements.
* — Understanding of AML / compliance interaction in high‐risk financial environments.

Leadership & Operational Expertise

* — Proven ability to scale revenue‐generating financial services businesses.
* — Experience managing operations, client‐facing teams, and trading/liquidity functions.
* — Ability to build and optimise operational structures and internal processes.
* — Experience leading cross‐functional teams including operations, IT, and legal.

Business Development & Partnerships

* — Strong network and experience working with professional market participants, including OTC desks, liquidity providers, and FX exchange networks.
* — Experience establishing strategic partnerships within exchange and remittance ecosystems.
* — Understanding of how to build and expand regional partner networks in emerging and regulated markets.

International Operations

* — Experience operating in multiple jurisdictions, preferably across Europe, CIS, LATAM, and the Middle East.
* — Experience coordinating with legal teams and external advisors to establish and maintain international corporate structures.
* — Familiarity with processes related to opening legal entities, banking relationships, and payment infrastructure across jurisdictions.

Product & Technology Collaboration

* — Experience working closely with technology teams to implement or integrate trading and operational platforms.
* — Ability to participate in selection or development of internal/external technology solutions for exchange operations and transaction automation.
* — Understanding of operational automation in financial services environments.

Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

* — Lead the strategic development and scaling of the OTC crypto exchange and remittance business line.
* — Drive revenue growth and operational expansion, increasing business performance from the current stage to 5× revenue growth.
* — Identify and develop new market opportunities across Europe, CIS, LATAM, and the Middle East, with future expansion into Asia and Australia.
* — Develop and execute a long‐term growth strategy for hybrid financial services operations (crypto, FX exchange, and remittance).

Operations & Liquidity Management

* — Oversee daily OTC trading operations and liquidity management.
* — Manage trading spreads, pricing strategy, and transaction margins.
* — Optimise financial flows across cash, crypto, and banking channels.
* — Ensure operational efficiency and reliability of currency exchange and remittance processes.
* — Monitor transaction volumes, profitability, and operational risks.

International Business Infrastructure

* — Lead the development of the company's international operational infrastructure.
* — Coordinate the establishment of legal entities across multiple jurisdictions including Europe, Canada, and the Middle East.
* — Work closely with legal teams and external advisors to ensure proper corporate structuring and operational readiness.
* — Support the set‐up of banking relationships and payment infrastructure required for global operations.
* — Manage operational challenges related to banking relationships, payment providers, and fund accessibility.

Product Development & Automation

* — Drive the development or implementation of internal or third‐party technology solutions to support OTC trading and exchange operations.
* — Work closely with IT teams to automate operational processes and reduce manual workflows.
* — Improve operational efficiency through technology integration and product development.
* — Define product requirements to support scalable OTC, FX, and remittance operations.

Partnerships & Market Network

* — Establish and maintain relationships with OTC desks, liquidity providers, exchange networks, and professional market participants.
* — Develop partnerships with currency exchange networks and remittance partners.
* — Expand the company's regional partner ecosystem to increase liquidity access and transaction flows.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

* — Lead and develop the operational team including team leads and operations specialists.
* — Build a scalable organisational structure to support business growth.
* — Establish clear performance management and operational KPIs.
* — Foster a high‐performance culture focused on growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Risk Management & Compliance Collaboration

* — Ensure operational processes align with regulatory, compliance, and AML requirements.
* — Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage risks associated with cross‐border financial operations.
