About the opportunity
The Pipeline and Pre Award team in DVC Research are on the hunt for another
Proposal Assurance & Submission Officer
to join their squad In this role, you will manage the proposal submission administrative services and offer operational support for the Pre-Award team. You will be leading support for funding proposals and submissions for allocated schemes and providing guidance and escalation support to Proposal Assurance & Submission Administrators. Key responsibilities
Work in the Pipeline and Pre-Award team, reporting to the Manager, Proposal Assurance & Submissions
Lead the administration submission requirements for allocated schemes by ensuring funding proposal and submission are compliant and meet quality assurance expectations
Maintain an accurate and systematic database of funding proposals and submissions
Understand the complexities of the submissions environment and provide insights, guidance, and regular reporting to the Pipeline and Pre-Awards Teams
Comply with funding rules and regulatory requirements
Contribute to the Research Support Community of Practice through trusted stakeholder management

Proposal Assurance & Submission Officer
who has:
Administrative experience in a complex and fast-paced environment
Excellent negotiating, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills
Sound judgement, initiative, and discretion with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
High-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, databases, Excel programs and web-based software
Interest in, or experience working in, a research-intensive higher education environment
Sponsorship / work rights for Australia
