An exciting opportunity exists to join the Senior Secondary Certificate Reform Division in the VCAA for a 2-year fixed term full-time position until December 2027.
* Salary: $113,022 - $136,747 (Plus Superannuation)

VCAA's Senior Secondary Certificate Reform Division (SSCRD) is responsible for leading and implementing generational reform to Victoria's senior secondary certification in response to the 2020 Review into Vocational and Applied Learning Pathways in Senior Secondary Schooling (The Firth Review).
The reforms are supporting all Victorian secondary students to access engaging curriculum where they can connect their learning to real-life and workplace experiences.
The introduction of the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) and the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) in 2023 supports students to pursue high-quality and valued vocational pathways aligned to their strengths and interests and to finish schooling with the skills and capabilities they need for success in further education, training, work, and life.
Role purpose
The Senior Program Advisor - VCE VM and VPC will work in a team of 3 Program Advisors to support the state-wide
implementation of the VCE Vocational Major and the Victorian Pathways Certificate, including contribution to the
following workflows and projects;
* Provide procedural support for schools including;
* Management of regular communications
* Management of the website content and Handbooks
* VASS and eligibility query management
* Provide curriculum and pedagogical support including;
* Management of study/curriculum design reviews and implementation (VPC & VCEVM)
* Curriculum and program design and delivery support
* Development and publication of support materials
* Provide ongoing professional learning & support including;
* Manage and contribute to professional learning programs (in person, online, on demand)
* Manage correspondence
* Manager stakeholder engagement
* Manage Communities of practice
* Contribute to major reform projects including
* development of the proposed VCE VM assessment model
* professional learning development and delivery
* development, accreditation, publication and implementation of the new VPC studies

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience developing and delivering senior secondary curriculum especially in applied learning programs is essential
* Experience developing, delivering and supporting teachers to understand best practice assessment in applied learning is essential
* The candidate should have Leading Teacher, Learning Specialist or similar/equivalent experience in an educational setting
* The candidate should have experience delivering professional learning to teachers or other professionals
* The candidate should have experienced developing and implementing policy
