About the Position
The Australian Construction Group is seeking a proactive Safety and Compliance Officer to lead health and safety initiatives on construction sites across the Hunter Valley.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations
* Conduct regular site assessments to identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions
* Collaborate with project management teams to maintain effective safety protocols and procedures
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
* A strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and legislation, including WHS and OHS certifications
* Relevant experience in a similar role, with excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business results
