System Engineer for Rail Signalling Testing
This role involves planning, coordinating, and conducting system testing in a rail signalling environment. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing system requirements, developing designs, and preparing technical documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out systems engineering activities such as analysis of system requirements and trade studies.
* Developing system/subsystem design and defining system interfaces.
* Preparing technical documentation and conducting risk analysis.
* Acting as the Systems Engineering interface to various stakeholders.
You will work closely with signalling design engineers and train control design engineers to analyse signalling system communications requirements. Your task will also involve inspecting and validating signal control Centre diagrams, screens, and panels.
Additional responsibilities include leading correspondence testing of trackside signalling equipment and undertaking Control Table Testing and Principles Testing of signalling Interlockings on a simulator or in a signalling control Centre.
Requirements for this role include:
* Multiple years of experience in related rail signalling testing and commissioning.
* IRSE Principles Tester licence or relevant Competency Management sign off.
