You will be delivering patient care from consultation through to dispensing, ensuring a truly seamless and personalised experience. Your duties will include:
* Comprehensive eye examinations and management of diverse ocular health conditions
* Use of advanced diagnostic technology, including OCT and corneal topography
* A dual focus on clinical care and dispensing - providing tailored eyewear solutions for every patient
* A strong emphasis on preventative care, patient education, and community engagement
Key Responsibilities
* Serve a loyal and diverse patient base, including families, seniors, and those with complex needs
* Access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and a curated range of frames and lenses
* CPD support and a collaborative team culture where learning is embedded in day-to-day practice
* No late nights or weekends, and plenty of time to explore all that Tasmania has to offer
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* AHPRA-registered Optometrist with therapeutic endorsement
* Passionate about holistic, patient-centred care
* Confident in both clinical consulting and optical dispensing
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
* A collaborative team player with a growth mindset
