About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic team in a full-time, on-site role at our office & distribution centre in Epping, Victoria.
Reporting to the Group Credit Manager, you will support an efficient and accurate accounts receivable function for the James Dunlop Group. Your role is pivotal in supporting the Group Credit Manager and finance team in achieving departmental objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team and contribute to the success of our finance operations. Key responsibilities include daily receipting, processing & reconciliation of customer payments, collection of outstanding accounts, managing customer accounts, addressing queries via phone/email, administration of accounts receivable & account maintenance emails, processing credit & debit notes, conducting credit checks on new customers, producing monthly statements, and other related tasks.
About You
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, high accuracy, good time management, and the ability to work well in a team.
Minimum 3+ years' experience in accounts receivable or collections.
Self-starter capable of managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and following up on actions.
Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding sensitive matters, maintaining effective relationships.
SAP experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Proactive, willing to learn, positive attitude, team-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem solver with high attention to detail.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
