**Tree Technical Services Manager Role**
A highly motivated and experienced Technical Services Manager is sought to oversee Pongamia field trials in Central Queensland.
* Contractor management of orchard caretaking and research treatments.
* Data collection and analysis to inform decisions on irrigation scheduling, fertilization, pest control, and other orchard management practices.
* Communication of research findings to diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and a proven track record of successfully managing field contractors.
This role falls within the Trees and Impact Group, led by the Chief Commercialization Officer (CCO), who oversees and facilitates global activities. The position reports to the Vice President of Tree R&D.
Key Responsibilities
* Selecting and onboarding contractors for irrigation maintenance, orchard activities, and other necessary services.
* Scheduling and coordinating contractor activities to align with orchard needs and seasonal requirements.
* Maintaining accurate and organized records of all collected data.
* Completing high-level analysis of collected data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
The Technical Services Manager will also be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting regular site inspections, and maintaining proper records of safety inspections and training.
