We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a Humanities Faculty. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students to understand and appreciate the world around them. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities for A-Level teaching for the right candidate. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention where needed.
3. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the Humanities department.
4. Foster a love of geography through creative teaching and extracurricular opportunities.
5. Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment.
Ideal Geography Teacher:
1. Holds QTS and has experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting.
2. Has excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to high academic standards.
3. Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
4. Can inspire and motivate learners of all abilities as a Geography Teacher.
5. Is a team player with a positive, proactive approach.
