CAD Designer and Drafter
Location: Australia | Eneraque
We are seeking a capable CAD Designer and Drafter to support the design and delivery of power generation and industrial infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with our engineering and project teams to produce high quality drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation for generator installations, large‐scale fuel reticulation systems, and associated mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Produce detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and Revit
* Develop general arrangement drawings, piping layouts, skid assemblies, and equipment layouts
* Prepare fabrication drawings for fuel systems, tanks, pipework, generator enclosures, and mechanical assemblies
* Generate installation drawings, isometrics, and construction documentation for site teams
* Assist with layouts and infrastructure design for large‐scale fuel reticulation systems and generator fuel supply networks
* Work closely with engineers and project managers to translate design concepts into buildable drawings
* Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control in accordance with project requirements
* Assist with design improvements and standardisation of Eneraque equipment packages
* Support preparation of as‐built documentation and commissioning handover packages
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with SolidWorks for mechanical assemblies and fabrication drawings
* Highly experienced in Revit for plant layouts, building integration, and equipment modelling
* Experience producing piping and mechanical layout drawings
* Understanding of industrial equipment installations such as generators, fuel systems, tanks, pipework, skids, and fuel reticulation networks
* Ability to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into practical designs
* Strong attention to detail and document control discipline
* Ability to work collaboratively within a project delivery environment
Desirable
* Experience in power generation, energy, mining, wastewater, or industrial infrastructure projects
* Familiarity with fuel systems, generator installations, and packaged plant equipment
* Knowledge of Australian engineering and drafting standards
