Epworth Freemasons is Victoria’s leading maternity hospital and a part of Epworth HealthCare, Victoria’s largest not-for-profit private health care group. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Midwives to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne. Part-time or full-time positions available.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
- Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Role-modeling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in interactions with patients and families.
- Continuously enhancing your skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.
Qualifications
- AHPRA Registration as a midwife (essential).
- Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward.
- A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
- A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families.

Salary and Benefits
- The annual salary range for full-time Registered Midwives is AUD $71,622 – $100,564 plus superannuation and entitlements (pro-rated for part-time).
- Salary packaging benefits up to AUD $15,900 p.a. pre-tax, plus an additional $2,650 pre-tax for food, beverage, and holiday accommodation annually.
