Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end data migration activities including planning, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of data across systems
* Analyse source and target system data structures to define mapping, transformation rules, and migration requirements
* Develop and execute data migration strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project timelines
* Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and SMEs to define data requirements and resolve data issues
* Coordinate and support migration testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Identify and manage data migration risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies
* Support cutover planning, migration execution, and post-migration validation and reconciliation
* Maintain data migration documentation including mapping specifications, migration logs, and reconciliation reports
* Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards throughout migration activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Strong experience in data migration, data integration, or data implementation projects
* Experience analysing and working with structured data across databases, data warehouses, or cloud platforms (e.g., solutions hosted on Microsoft cloud environments)
* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation
* Experience with data migration and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or Azure Data Factory)
* Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and data quality principles
* Experience supporting system implementations such as ERP, CRM, or enterprise platforms
* Ability to perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of migration issues
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to work across business and technical teams
* Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail
