Our client, a leading company in the engineering industry, is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team for an ongoing project in Dubbo.
Position: Trade Qualified Boiler Maker
Key Responsibilities:
* Work 10-11 hours a day, 10 days on and 4 days off
* Conduct structural steel erection of 3 towers, 35 meters high, with a Gantry walkway between towers
* Perform welding tasks and support the current rigging crew in an assisting role
* Ability to interpret and read drawings accurately
* Ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks undertaken
* Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
Qualifications and Skills:
* Trade certification in Boiler Making or Cert 3 Engineering
* National white card
* EWP – HRWL/Boom Ticket or Yellow Card
* Working @ Heights ticket – current
* F-lift/HRWL ticket (desirable)
* Fearless attitude towards working at heights (up to 35 meters)
* Proficiency in using own tools, welding helmet, and hard hat (mandatory PPE)
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to work away from home
* Strong initiative and the ability to start immediately
* Completed 2-hour onsite site-specific induction (paid)
* DIDO from home residence to Dubbo
* Own transportation to the site during ordinary hours
* Availability to start ASAP, with flexibility in working hours based on weather conditions
