We are currently looking for a Hardware Technician and Customer Service team member to join our growing iPlay team at Tenpin City Dubbo. This hands-on role is vital to keeping our bowling lanes and arcade machines running at their best while also delivering outstanding customer service to our guests.

About the Role:
Your role will involve maintaining and repairing bowling lanes and arcade machines, troubleshooting any mechanical or technical issues, and supporting the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
You'll be a key part of the iPlay Tenpin City Dubbo team — someone who's hands-on, proactive, and ready to jump between fixing machines and helping customers enjoy their experience.
Responsibilities and Tasks
* Maintain and repair bowling lane machinery and arcade games.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, software, and hardware issues.
* Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
* Provide friendly and helpful customer service when required.
* Assist with computer systems, including basic setup, testing, and configuration.
* Ensure all equipment is in safe, working condition.
* Collaborate with the Venue Manager to identify and resolve technical issues quickly.
What We're Looking For
* Mechanically minded with a hands-on approach.
* Previous experience in a technician, mechanic, or maintenance role is highly regarded.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Great communication and teamwork skills.
* Customer-focused attitude and willingness to assist on the floor when needed.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Flexible availability including weekends, public and school holidays.
* A current driver's licence is preferred.
Minimum Requirements
* 1+ years' experience in a mechanical, technical, or maintenance role.
* Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems.
* Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
* Enthusiastic and reliable with a positive attitude.
* National Police Check completed within the last 30 days (or willing to obtain).
