Our team is growing, and we need you

About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Controller / Dealership Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

In this role, you'll play an important part in maintaining accurate stock records, supporting daily dealership operations, and assisting the team to deliver excellent customer service. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values reliability, initiative, and teamwork.

Flexible part-time hours make this role ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

* VicRoads registrations, disposals, and acquisitions.
* Customer contact, including updates on ordered vehicles, booking clients for delivery.
* Compiling and obtaining deal paperwork.
* Manage and update stock records for new and used vehicles.
* Coordinate vehicle movements between departments and external partners.
* Support the sales team with administrative and logistical tasks.
* Support the Dealer Principal with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
* Monitor inventory accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
* Maintain tidy and organised display areas and stock storage.
* Contribute to general dealership operations as required.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Basic computer and data entry skills (experience with dealership systems a plus).
* A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed.
* Previous experience in a dealership, automotive, or stock control role (preferred but not essential).
* A valid driver's licence.

Why Jowett Motor Group?

We are a highly successful business driven by family values - and like a family, we'll take care of you.

Here's what you can expect in your career at Jowett Motor Group:

* Teamwork and family values are at our core. You'll belong to a respectful, authentic, and passionate team of people and leaders who champion each other, celebrate our successes, and know that 'life happens'.
* We keep improving as we grow and growing as we improve. You'll have plenty of opportunities to upskill, gain new knowledge and experiences, and progress your career.
* We're raising the bar for a sustainable future. As we play our part in the transition to climate-friendly and renewable energy sources, this is your chance to help us make a tangible difference.

You'll also enjoy a range of other benefits:

* Be rewarded for your contribution with generous remuneration, and an annual salary review.
* Accelerate your skills and career with ongoing development and training (both face-to-face and online), a strong focus on internal promotions, and Licence to Lead programs.
* We celebrate our success with team recognition events.
* We also celebrate each other with birthday cakes, monthly barbecues, and our highly anticipated group-wide Christmas party.
* We offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
* Generous discounts across major retailers through our employment platform.

If you're ready to make a real impact and be part of a fantastic team, we'd love to hear from you
