As Capital Works, Third Party & Events Manager based in Carlton, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of capital works, third‐party projects and event‐related operations across the region. Working closely with contractors, stakeholders and internal teams, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a varied and hands‐on role where your project coordination skills and ability to build strong working relationships will make a visible difference to our services and the communities we support. You'll join a supportive team committed to quality outcomes, innovation and continuous improvement.
As a Capital Works, Third Party & Events Manager, you'll make a positive impact by:
* Managing capital works projects to ensure delivery to time, budget and quality expectations
* Coordinating contractors, site meetings and stakeholder engagement across active projects
* Preparing project documentation, quotations, tenders and monthly invoicing reports
* Overseeing third‐party works and ensuring internal teams remain informed and aligned
* Managing event handovers, reinstatement works and related operational activities
* Supporting safe work practices and maintaining compliance across all project activities
You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have
* Experience in open space maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or related project environments
* Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
* A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted working relationships
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices
* A relevant qualification in Project Management, Landscaping, Horticulture or Turf, or you're currently studying toward one
