WA Cricket is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant with experience in payroll to join our Commercial & Corporate Services team.

This role involves managing the payroll obligations at WA Cricket, ensuring timely delivery, accurate, and insightful reporting and analysis. Additionally, the role will cover areas such as accounts receivable, staff reimbursement, credit card reconciliation, and float reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the processing of end-to-end monthly and fortnightly payroll, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
">
* Ensure employees are paid in accordance with relevant awards, contracts, organisational policies, and legislation.
">
* Maintain employee records, contracts, and ensure data integrity for payroll systems and Time and Attendant systems.
">
* Prepare payment for superannuation, payroll tax, and group payroll tax reconciliation.
">
* Prepare month-end related payroll journals.
">
* Generate accurate invoices and distribute them on a timely basis.
">
* Review and verify submitted reimbursement requests from staff members.
">
* Reconcile credit cards.
">
* Float management
">

Requirements:
">

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
">
* Minimum of 2 years' payroll experience.
">
* Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
">
* Ability to work under pressure, meet strict financial deadlines.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
">
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
">
* Experience working with The Access MicrOpay is advantageous.
