Maintenance Planner Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule Maintenance: Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Hands-on Maintenance: Perform occasional mechanical/electrical maintenance and support troubleshooting activities to address equipment issues promptly.
* Work Order Management: Review and prioritize work requests, create clear work orders for the team, and ensure accurate documentation in the CMMS records.
* Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure timely availability of necessary parts.
* Contractor Supervision: Supervise external contractors to ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards, and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
* Equipment Monitoring: Monitor equipment reliability, analyze downtime trends, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant operations.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in a maintenance planning or similar role, preferably in a food/FMCG environment.
* Qualifications: Trade background or relevant qualifications in maintenance, engineering, or planning.
Preferred Skills:
* Technical Know-How: Familiarity with CMMS (preferably MEX), GMP/HACCP knowledge, and basic mechanical/electrical understanding.
* Mindset: Organized, safety-focused, problem-solver with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Tech Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital scheduling tools.
