The Role The Senior Project Engineer will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of capital and process engineering projects across the site, operating in a highly hands-on capacity. The role will be responsible for delivering projects from concept through to execution in a live manufacturing environment, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant outcomes. Key responsibilities
Managing the development of new land and construction of a new warehouse, including engagement with surveyors, council, builders, and design-and-construct partners Leading the overhaul and optimisation of various production lines, including layout, pumps, piping, and process improvement Delivering continuous improvement initiatives across safety, efficiency, reliability, and performance Collaborating closely with Maintenance, Production, and Quality Skills & Experience
Background asa Project Engineer or similar role within food, FMCG, or manufacturing Exposure to capital projects, process engineering, and brownfield upgrades Understanding of project management methodologies, including planning and scheduling tools such as Gantt charts Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to work effectively in a live production environment Strong communication skills and a people-centric mindset; experience in a small to medium-sized or privately owned business will be highly regarded For More Information
