As a Team Manager within our NT Claims Operations team you will lead a dynamic team who manage workers’ compensation claims, promoting safe, timely and durable return‑to‑work outcomes for injured workers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead a team of Claims personnel across varying levels of experience within the workers’ compensation space.
Shape company culture through high levels of people engagement, recognising the importance of diversity and increasing satisfaction.
Participate in workforce planning and recruitment for the function.
Monitor service performance by establishing clear goals, tracking progress, giving timely feedback, and recognising exceptional performance.
Mentor and coach your team to reach their full potential; analyse performance trends and implement remedial action.
Promote a culture of compliance with business processes.
Identify areas of opportunity and take action to improve outcomes for customers and people.
About You
Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, or significant experience in workers’ compensation claims management.
Knowledge of general business and administrative practices and management of cost‑effective activities.
Experience managing performance through qualitative and quantitative metrics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
A strategic mindset and approach to work.
A strong sense of team collaboration.
A resilient attitude.
