Job Title:
Senior Clinician - Child and Family Therapy
About the Role:
This role involves providing therapy and support to children under 10 in a collaborative, trauma-informed setting. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, the Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) services, and have the opportunity to make a real impact in children's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual and family therapy sessions to children under 10
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify children's needs and develop strategies for intervention
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes
Requirements:
* Social Workers: hold a bachelor's degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Pyschologists: must hold a four-year degree in psychology, being a three-year degree with a fourth-year honours in psychology, or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer, and be registered (general) or eligible for registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia via AHPRA
