The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Emergency Medicine specialist to contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality emergency care services to patients in Geraldton. Our Emergency Department is a busy regional department receiving around 40,000 presentations annually, with a diverse case mix including trauma and high-acuity cases.
The blended medical model includes experienced clinicians, Registrars, Residents, and GPs, underpinned by a culture of teaching and supervision. Leadership and management training are promoted, and resources for education are well-supported.
Key Requirements
Applicants should be registered as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent qualification.

Geraldton Health Campus is a 100-bed hospital undergoing redevelopment, including expansion of the Emergency Department and provision for mental health and intensive care units. As a referral centre for the region, we have a very busy Emergency Department and Medical Department.
