**Job Description**:
Are you interested in a rewarding job opportunity? We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Melbourne. This is a 1-year maternity contract position. As an Account Executive, your main responsibility will be to assist and support our accommodation partners. This includes contacting them, providing information and advice, and helping them meet the needs of our website visitors. You will also help create accommodations webpages and train new partners on how to use our systems effectively. In addition, you will provide support to our Account Managers with various tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Proactively communicate with partners through phone calls, internal messaging, and in-person meetings to help grow their business
- Build strong relationships with partners to ensure they offer the best availability and competitive rates
- Identify opportunities to help partners improve their business using our internal tools
- Serve as the main contact for key local accommodation partners, addressing their questions and concerns
- Participate in regular team learning sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Advise accommodation partners on how to optimize their webpages and update information
- Be available for property inquiries when Account Managers are unavailable
- Assist in creating and maintaining property information on our website
- Train new and existing partners on how to use our systems effectively
- Provide support and advice to partners, especially through follow-ups
- Take care of administrative tasks and provide IT support
- Collaborate with Account Managers to provide information and support for new and existing accommodations
- Conduct regular rate and availability checks on different platforms
- Support market visits, operational planning, and other projects as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience in e-travel or hotel/travel industry is a plus
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently
- Ability to persuade partners to implement suggestions
- Quick, resourceful, and detail-oriented
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Focus on business and customer satisfaction
- Preferred background in Hotel School or University
- You must reside in Melbourne and have the right to work in Australia without sponsorship
