**HR Advisor**

**The opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional **HR Advisor** to join our People & Culture team on a fixed term full time basis for 12 months. This role will support and advise our managers, supervisors and employees in all people management and workplace relation matters. We believe our People and Culture team is amazing, but we are missing you
**Key responsibilities**
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- End-to-end case management on all people management matters such as performance and attendance management, discipline, grievance, fitness for work and workers compensation cases etc. ensuring compliance with organisational policy and legislative requirements.
- Provide support, advice and coaching to an assigned portfolio of the business, assisting managers, supervisors and employees in effective performance development activities and processes to maximise employee effectiveness and ensure compliance with legislation and policy.
- Provide effective expertise, support and advice to business leaders regarding industrial relations matters to ensure organisational compliance with employment law and relevant legislation.
- Monitor and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Industrial Relations environment to advise the organisation on any changes, recommend appropriate courses of action and amend and develop relevant policies and procedures.
- Review, develop, recommend and implement relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and relevant legislation.
- Provide support and input to relevant projects, as identified.
- Participating in workforce planning and supporting cultural change and development.
- Undertake analysis, data collection and research of relevant industrial instruments, as directed.
**About you**
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to maintain strong working relationships.
- Team focus to participate and contribute to project teams and business unit and organisational objectives.
- Powerful influencing skills with the ability to gain trust with business stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and proactively manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
- Sound experience in employment issues including interpretation of legislation and industrial instruments to provide effective support and advice.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex cases.
- Demonstrated computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, calendar management and presentation software to create effective documentation and correspondence.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable in order to contribute to business unit objectives.
