**About the Employer**:

**About the Role**:
Assist with administration and management of work health and safety frameworks, polices, procedures and practices to ensure that all construction environments comply all legislative and regulatory requirements and to promote industry best WHS practices and standards.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Communicating WHS performance on site to the management reporting line.
- Assisting the Project Delivery Team hands-on with the implementation of WHS Systems
- Providing advice on WHS to all employees and subcontractors
- Assist with the determining WHS legal requirements for the work activities
- Ensure WHS work procedures are strictly followed
- Assist with the coordination of injury management / return to work / recovery at work for injured employees
- Review WHS reports and inspections
- Review Safe Work Method Statements and Site WHS Start-up documentation
- Set up and participate in WHS meetings and programmes
- Set up and manage Toolbox Talks on a regular basis
- Set up and conduct site specific safety inductions
- Assist with conducting incident investigations
- Communicating with the Project Manager Senior Safety Manager and Site Manager on WHS matters
- Taking part in inspections and ensuring recommended corrective actions are completed.
- Provide high visibility on-site approach
**To be successful you will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS related field and/or extensive experience of WHS compliance in medium to large multi discipline residential projects
- General construction induction card (White card)
- First Aid Certificate (current)
- Valid driver's licence
- Minimum five years risk management and auditing experience
- Minimum five years return to work coordination experience
- Demonstration of thorough knowledge and understanding of the WHS ACT and Regulation
**Hours / days**: Standard industry hours***
**Location**: Head office and on site (Inner, Southwest or Western Sydney)
