Position : HSE Manager
Company : Principal/Head Contractor
Project : $mulit-billion infrastructure project
Location : FIFO 2:1 Roster
Salary : $300-330k TFR
* Opportunity to work for a Tier 1 contractor on a major infrastructure project
* Site Based role
* 3+ years work left
Responsibilities of the HSE Manager :
* Lead site-wide HSE team and ensure compliance in line with regulatory, contractual and ISO-certified management systems.
* Develop, implement and maintain site-specific HSE programs, plans and risk assessments.
* Supervise and mentor the on-site HSE team, ensuring proactive preparation for upcoming works.
* Conduct audits, inspections and HSE reviews, providing expert advice and driving corrective actions.
* Manage incident investigations, reporting, root-cause analysis and close‑out of actions.
* Deliver HSE reporting, training and coaching to project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
* Champion continuous improvement, environmental initiatives and ESG‑related activities.
Relevant Experience required for the HSE Manager:
* Bachelor's degree in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar, with 8+ years in HSE management roles.
* Strong knowledge of safety legislation and construction/project environments.
* Demonstrated success developing and implementing HSE programs on complex construction, mining, O&G, or heavy-industry projects.
* Proven leadership capability with experience managing HSE teams and influencing diverse stakeholders.
* Skilled in incident management, HSE reporting, audits, and use of HSE management systems/software.
