About the Role
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR function. You will collaborate closely with our HR team and wider organisation to deliver administrative support, coordination, and expertise across all aspects of human resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver a range of human resources services to support the efficient functioning of our organisation.
* Maintain accurate employee personnel files and records, adhering to operational and legislative requirements.
* Prepare, administer, and monitor ongoing employment contracts to ensure employees are properly contracted and relevant documentation is executed and compliant.
* Act as the primary point of contact for HR queries, escalating issues appropriately and following up on matters including initial industrial relations/employee performance concerns.
* Provide backup support to our payroll function.
Skills and Experience Required
* A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar HR Administrator/Coordinator role.
* Familiarity with HR legislation and experience working with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) is desirable.
* Tertiary qualifications in HR are highly regarded.
* Candidates must possess full working rights in Australia and be able to commence work immediately.
