We're partnering with a respected healthcare organisation seeking an experienced ICT Application Support Engineer to take ownership of their core Microsoft application environment and play a key role in improving performance, integration and user experience across the business.

The Opportunity
This role is centred around supporting and optimising a Microsoft-centric application landscape, including:
* Microsoft 365
* Microsoft Dynamics
* Azure (cloud environments & integrations)
* Power BI & reporting
* Power Automate
* Microsoft SQL
This is more than BAU support — you'll help shape how applications are delivered, integrated and optimised across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide application support across Microsoft platforms
* Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 and Dynamics environments
* Support and enhance Azure-based applications and integrations
* Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions
* Support SQL databases (querying, reporting, troubleshooting)
* Manage application upgrades, patches and security updates
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve user experience
* Support integrations using APIs, REST/SOAP and modern integration methods
* Contribute to ICT projects including migrations and system enhancements
* Assist in vendor management and licence optimisation
* Ensure systems remain secure, stable and aligned with best practice

About You
You are a strong technical support professional who combines Microsoft platform depth with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
You'll bring:
* 3 - 5+ years' experience in Application Support or similar ICT role
* hands-on experience across Microsoft 365
* Experience with Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform
* Solid SQL knowledge (querying, reporting, troubleshooting)
* Understanding of integrations, APIs and cloud-based applications
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working in structured IT environments with change control and security practices
