The Role
The Aquatic Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of the Lifeguard team with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery. You will draft lifeguard rosters, lead, coach and engage a team of Lifeguards, prevent hazards and ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements. The role is split across direct Lifeguard Supervision and Aquatic Operations to align with business needs.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures
* Demonstrated experience of plant room management and pool operations is essential
* Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
* Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
* National Police Check
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Pool Plant Operators Certification essential; pool operations experience highly regarded (willingness to complete Pool Operators Certificate within 6 months of employment required)
