Job Description
The Head of Fleet Sales will lead and coach the National Fleet Sales team to develop and implement growth initiatives with fleet customers across Australia.
This role is flexible on location and can be based out of any of our branch locations on the East Coast of Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop strategies for market expansion, customer satisfaction, and profitability specific to fleet sales of commercial vehicles.
* Foster effective relationships and maintain communication with customers, peers, branches, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, and appointed dealers.
* Oversee strategic and tactical pricing initiatives to grow market share, profitability, while responding to competitive pressures.
* Ensure high levels of customer engagement and CRM utilisation.
* Mentor and manage the fleet sales team nationally to achieve overall sales and profitability objectives.
* Provide strategic leadership and stewardship of Dennis Eagle brand across Australia and New Zealand.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial vehicle industry, fleet sales, and product support.
* Extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle products, specifications, and Australian Mass, Dimension, and PBS laws.
* Strong experience in sales management, developing business units, and account management.
* Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial transactions.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively.
* Experience leading remote based, large teams across multiple regions and structures.
* High-level communication, negotiation, relationship building, and presentation skills.
* Mechanical aptitude or technical background highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualification in business or a related field preferred.
* Strong customer focus and proven ability to drive customer satisfaction.
