Occupational Therapy Senior Job Opportunity
Our organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide advanced clinical care to older adults experiencing frailty through a virtual and home-based model of care.
* Deliver high-level occupational therapy services, utilizing professional expertise to patients identified for the rapid access geriatrician-led model of care.
* Work autonomously within the multidisciplinary team to manage, coordinate, and provide optimal occupational therapy services in acute, community, and virtual settings.
* Focus on preventing inappropriate admissions by supporting the needs of patients, their families, and significant others through sub-acute supports in the home environment.
Key qualifications include:
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-level occupational therapy knowledge and skills with complex work that requires expansion, adaptation, or modification.
* Extensive knowledge of medical, surgical, and cognitive conditions impacting functional ability.
Preferred Qualifications
* Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the relevant allied health registration board.
* Proof of qualification and registration presented to the supervisor prior to commencement of duties.
