Position; Reporting to the Training & Consulting Team Lead within our Technical Service & Support Division, this role is a Trainer‑Consultant supporting the APAC region customer base.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing support of Hexagon’s FMS and Safety product suite. Your role will be to provide guidance, direction, and training on our portfolio, working closely across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be a trusted advisor between our customer and our internal teams, including sales, software engineering, and hardware technicians, to provide comprehensive support and seamless service throughout the customer lifecycle with Hexagon.
This position is transient in assignment location. The position is home‑based in Perth, supporting the APAC region which may include both interstate and international travel. You will join an 8:6 roster, whereby your work location may be on customer site, home office, or interstate office locations as required. We aim to ensure alignment with the forecasted work schedule; however, ad‑hoc changes to location can occur.

In addition, we are seeking those with the following qualifications and skills.
Technical
- Background in Mining Operations with experience in FMS/Safety system operations within UG/Surface production environments.
- Class C driver’s licence required.
- Experience working in a dynamic workplace, managing multiple portfolios.
- Prior experience in training delivery/customer across mine operating systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, passionate about driving positive customer service delivery.
General
- Ability to lead your own deliverables independently, embodying initiative and self‑starting capabilities.
- Proactive, agile and adaptable to changing business requirements.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relations across a diverse stakeholder group, both internally and externally.
- Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
- Prior experience in HxGN Systems or Safety System product suites for mine operations.
