About the Role
* The payroll team is responsible for paying employees on a regular basis.
* This role will report into the payroll manager and is a hybrid position located at our office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Carrying out payroll system administration, including electronic funds transfer (EFT)
* Preparing payment requisitions for processing payments to external agencies
* Maintaining employee master files
* Identifying system issues and suggesting improvements
* Generating reports from HR systems
* Ensuring compliance with superannuation legislation and reporting requirements
* Providing support to employees with EmpLive and My Central
* Assisting with year-end processing.
Responsibilities also include:
* Calculating final pay for terminated employees, including payments for annual leave and long service leave
* Providing support to employees as required
* Issuing certificates of service for terminated employees
