Overview
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper with robust accounting skills to play a key role in keeping our finance operations accurate and efficient across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role for someone with proven experience in Xero and MYOB, who thrives on managing complex reconciliations and ensuring accounts are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Responsibilities
High-level bookkeeping and accounting support
Loan, mortgage, and intercompany account reconciliations
Bank account reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities
Accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliations
Month-end close support and ledger maintenance
Preparation of management reporting packs as required
Liaison with accountants and external advisors as needed
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting roles
Strong skills in Xero and MYOB
Demonstrated experience with intercompany accounts, loans, mortgages, and complex reconciliations
BAS Agent registration or CPA/CA qualification (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently, remotely, and deliver on deadlines
Proactive and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple entities
Remote role – must be Australia-based and familiar with local compliance standards
Competitive hourly rate or retainer, negotiable depending on experience
