An established and growing organisation based in Clayton is seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to support its eCommerce division. This is a newly created, permanent role, offering an opportunity to join a fast-paced online retail environment where customer experience, order accuracy and responsiveness are critical.
This position plays a key role in supporting online customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring eCommerce orders, enquiries and claims are managed efficiently from order placement through to fulfilment and after-sales support.
About the Role:
* Managing customer service for eCommerce orders, enquiries and warranty claims (primarily through Shopify)
* Supporting invoicing and order administration for digital sales channels
* Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email with a strong focus on service
* Investigating and resolving delivery, stock availability and order issues
* Liaising with internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment of online orders
* Maintaining accurate data and contributing to regular reporting and checks
* Identifying opportunities to improve eCommerce service processes
About You:
This role will suit someone who has ideally worked in a similar eCommerce or online retail environment and understands the pace, volume and customer expectations that come with digital sales channels.
* 3+ years' experience in a customer service role supporting eCommerce or online orders
* Exposure to product-based, retail or distribution environments
* Strong order processing and administrative experience
* Confidence managing customer enquiries via phone and email
* Experience using eCommerce platforms, ERP or CRM systems is beneficial
* High attention to detail, not afraid to take initiative, enjoy problem solving
* Experience in a B2C environment is ideal
