About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our School community on a part time, fixed term basis for the 2025 school year.

Reporting to the Head of Learning – Languages, this role will be responsible for teaching Spanish subjects across Years 8 and 9, in a collaborative and progressive environment.

Early career teachers will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- A current knowledge of Australian Curriculum (Languages).
- Previous experience teaching Language subjects (preferred).
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
- Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.

- An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision.
- The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
- To be eligible to apply you must have the legal right to live and work in Australia and meet any entry requirements if you are outside the country.
