Demand for our security services is rapidly increasing, particularly across local and state government infrastructure projects in our region. As a result, we're growing our team to meet this demand and continue delivering reliable, high‑quality outcomes for our clients.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electronic Security Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on role responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of electronic security systems — including Access Control, CCTV, Alarms, Nurse Call Systems, and Cloud Communications .
For the right candidate, there is a pathway to grow into a Technical Lead / Manager role, including responsibilities such as team scheduling, quoting, and project coordination, provided the skillset is demonstrated and as the business continues to expand .
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission, and service security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Alarms)
* Assist with Nurse Call and Cloud Communications deployments (training provided)
* Perform fault‑finding and provide technical support
* Liaise with clients, project managers, and suppliers
* Complete documentation and ensure compliance
* Travel regionally as needed (accommodation and allowances provided)
* Opportunity to step into quoting, scheduling, and project roles as capacity and demand grow
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in electronic security or related field
* Confident working independently on end‑to‑end installations
* Solid understanding of IP networking and structured cabling
* Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
* Motivated to contribute to a growing team and take on more responsibility over time

Licences & Certifications
* Security Licence (NSW and/or VIC)
* Open Cabling Registration Licence
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Police Check
* Working With Children Check
* Nationally Coordianted Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
